I noticed how the Androgynous look has always been in. When I was young going through fashion magazines, I wasn’t taken by it since I didn’t understand or see the beauty behind it, but now with shows such as Next Top Model and YouTube videos of runway shows I can finally appreciate the Androgyny look.
What I love is the flexibility behind the look and the way a female body can be bold and daring within a masculine attire but still be beautiful. The curves might be hidden by boxy shoulders or straight edged unflattering linear seams, but how the person carries themselves makes or breaks the entire look altogether. If you seem to be uncomfortable through your body language and/or stance, it only negates from your outfit. Therefore, finding confidence in yourself is crucial.
Girl, if you need to wear lingerie underneath your “manly” uniform/attire to find your confidence, go for it!
