Its liberating for me to knowing that I can pull off an outfit with no bra. I feel such freedom and control since I’m not dictated by public opinion of what is “kosher” to wear. For fear of being condemned for going outside of what is proper and what is not.
The idea of breast feeding in public alone is straining social norms which should be normal behavior. Especially for those who believe they evolved from monkeys, why aren’t monkeys banned from breastfeeding. Also, I don’t see the monkeys being ridiculed for publicly feeding their young while in the wild or in a zoo.
Is it the issue of nipples that bring ire or discust in social media? Celebrities strut their nipples in see through attires in the red carpet its accepted. However once breasts are used for nurturing human babies its a public outcry! Come on people!
Anyway enough of my rant because in this episode, blazers is what got me to be comfortable this weekend.
One random phone call this week got me riled up since receiving it. Collections called to be paid for a closed Verizon account.
After days of pestering for an account that is disconnected, closed with no services or calls from Verizon for 3 years. I was told I owed $524.22! Whoa!!!
This is where it get iffy, numerous calls to Verizon got me transferred to several departments telling me to file a police report in order to contest it. I called a precint in California where I used to reside and was told they can’t help with the issue, it needs to be dealt with through Verizon themselves. Therefore, after days of more back and forth from Verizon I paid the bill in FULL. Mainly out of frustration and lack of evidence since its been 3 years since I relocated so I felt I don’t have a leg to stand on.
The iffy part is since its been verified that my account is disconnected/closed, they can’t email me or mail me a payment confirmation. The best they can do is provide me an approval number over the phone. Wait, WHAT!!! I was willing to provide my updated information but they can’t even provide me with a mere confirmation email or mail me one?!?
Is that grounds for fraud or what?! Ilene, (don’t know if that’s her real name) the Verizon rep told me that if there’s additional issues to call their Customer Service number which I remember by heart now. 1800-922-0204.
Yeah, I’m calling you out Ilene from Verizon with my approval number 397566.
After some research, I guess I’m not the only one getting scammed.
End of rant.
